When Hubby's Away....

.... The Wifey will put on face and hair masks, drink wine and watch Real Housewives of New York.  Tonight is the monthly Boys Only Poker Night so I have the house to myself and I plan on making the most of it.

After finishing up at the job on Monday I spent all day yesterday getting a broken-down jeep towed, jumped and taken to the shop.  In yet another sign that the job wasn't right for me Hubby's car died the morning of my last day.  He had an important meeting so he took my car and I took a $30 cab ride into work.

I finally got it into the shop and we borrowed one of the in-laws cars while they are on a cycling trip in France for two weeks (luckies).  This morning, we discovered that our borrowed car had a flat tire so I then spent today getting that fixed and switching with the inlaws' other car.  Ugh.

Now that I finally have a moment to sit and reflect I'm going to celebrate with a glass of Pinto Grigio, a little RHONY and two of my favorite treatments.

Let's start off with Eufora's Urgent Repair Replenishing Treatment.  This is one of the products that started my obsession with peppermint scented hair products.  This deep conditioner is light enough to use everyday if you need it but is really fantastic to apply to damp hair and leave on for an hour or two.

I first learned about Eufora when I went to a salon that carried it.  It was love at first sniff.  They use only delicious essential oils that hydrate and condition without weighing my hair down.  Unlike a lot of brands that use water or petroleum bases, Eufora uses Aloe Vera as its base.  This is THE best product for you if most shampoos and conditioners make you break out on your face or body.

The other Eufora product I treated myself to is the Beautifying Serum.  This stuff smells like cranberries and oranges and I prefer it as a hair serum over other prestige brands like Kerastatse.  I couldn't wait for my Kerastase Elixir Ultime to run out so I could buy the Beautifying Serum again and Kerastase is no slouch in the performance department.

I love this serum because it's so pure that I don't even wash my hands off after applying it to my hair.  I rub it into my hands and cuticles and don't want to waist a drop.  Past stylists have recommended adding a pump of this to body lotion and applying all over for both the moisturizing benefits as well as the scent.  Tonight I massaged two pumps into my scalp and one pump into the Urgent Repair before applying it to my hair.

I also have one of my favorite face masks on.  I've mentioned my love for Kate Somerville before and her Quench Mask is fantastic.  I'm going to save that for another post though since it deserves it's own spotlight.

Have a great night!
