Oldie but Goodie: L'OREAL Magic Perfecting Base

It's not really that old (maybe two years?), but with all the new primers being released by every other brand this one from L'OREAL is different and has real staying power.  If you've had a hard time finding a primer you like this may be the one to try.

Unlike a lot of primers that are clear, slippery and full of silicones (think Smashbox or Sephora) Magic Perfecting Base is a a fluffy cross between a mouse and a cream.  Don't get me wrong, I love those other primers and definitely think there's a time and a place that they're the best choice but they aren't for everyone.

No bottles or tubes for this one.  Make sure your hands are clean before scooping out the product.

It goes on fluffy and opaque but once you rub it in you'll have a nice matte finish that blurs imperfections and creates a perfect base for makeup. If the slippery, almost greasy feeling of other primers bothers you then I recommend giving this a spin.  Available at most drugstores or grocery stores that carry L'OREAL for just $12.99.
