Birthday Giveaway: Naked Princess Naked Shine Luscious Lip Gloss

Thank you to all my readers who have kept me going on this blog for the last year!  I appreciate you all so much that I bought you a Birthday present!

As you know, one of my new favorite brands for luxurious body lotion, scents and lips is couture atelier Naked Princess.  Last month they offered 20% off my entire purchase so I decided to share the love and bought two Naked Shine Luscious Lip Glosses in Barely Coco to give away!

To enter, do one of the following by next Friday, December 14:
  • Post a comment on this post about anything you want that's beauty related (please keep it nice!)
  • Send me an email at leahsbeautyblog@gmail.com with some ideas of things you'd like me to review (for the moment stick more to cosmetics, tools and accessories than skincare)
  • Sign up to follow this blog through the widget on right
After the 14th I'll randomly select two winners from all the entries and will announce it here on Monday, December 16th.  Unfortunately, I can only ship to US residents at this time but I hope that all of you International readers will comment or email me as well.

Now, I know you're all dying to hear about these lovely glosses.

A couple months ago Naked Princess sent me samples to try and I fell in love with yet another of their products.  This gloss has a slight vanilla scent but it's not overwhelming.  It goes on light and sheer and is never sticky.  There's no glitter in these glosses but you will feel like they are glowing.

Naked Shine glosses are infused with shea butter, Moroccan vanilla, sweet almond oil and antioxidants vitamins E and C.  They also it contain an irritation-free peptide that stimulates collagen and has a plumping effect with continued use.  What these glosses don't contain are parabens, phthalates, GMOs, sulfates or triclosan.

I've used this gloss alone and on top of other lip products.  One of my favorite uses is on top of my bright cherry NARS gloss that is so sticky I rarely ever use it.  My Coco Shine is sheer enough that you can still see the color underneath but it keeps my lips from sticking together.

Here are a swatches of the 8 shades available.

Coco
Blush
Buff
Coral
Pink
Rose
Naked
Nude

As I mentioned, Naked Princess sent me samples of Coco, Coral, Blush and Nude. Here's a swatch of those as well.  They are very sheer so it was hard to get a great photo but you can still see the differences in the four shades.   In fact, my only complaint about this product is that there aren't more shades.  If this formula had a little sunscreen and came in a few brighter or darker shades I would probably never wear any other glosses because that's how much I love the texture and consistency of these glosses.

Coco, Coral, Blush and Nude
Last but not least, here are the glosses for two of you lucky readers!  When you receive them you'll see why they have won awards for best packaging.  Gorgeous!

Thanks for reading and don't forget to enter!  This giveaway will be open until next Friday, December 14th.
