Grandpa was 92 and let me tell you that I could not have been more pleasantly surprised at the number of people who attended the funeral. When you're 92 so many of your friends and family have usually passed away and attendance isn't as high as it would be for someone younger. I'd say that a minimum of 120+ people came through the visitation, about 90 stayed for the funeral and 60 stayed for the luncheon afterwards. Distant cousins came from miles away, the volunteers from the hospital did a tribute and he was buried with full military honors including a 21 gun salute.
Anyways, I just wanted to share a little bit about him and remind everyone to cherish their own family members.
I hope your week is off to a good start. It's been snowing for a few days here in Denver and I'm making a big pot of soup for dinner.
Now that I'm back in town look for some more fun reviews coming soon!
Thanks for stopping by.
