My Favorite Preggie Cleanser

I may have mentioned a few times lately that my skin has not liked pregnancy. The most frustrating part is that there's really nothing I can do. For the most part, any ingredient that could help isn't allowed.  Luckily lactic acid is OK and I found a cleanser at Pea In The Pod that is made specifically for use during pregnancy.

Sorry the photo is fuzzy. No matter what room or
lighting I used the font just doesn't show up well.

Belli Anti Blemish Facial Wash was developed by a doctor for his pregnant wife and I've had pretty good results from it. It is a thick, very low-foaming clear gel that contains lactic acid, green tea, cucumber, olive oil and lemon peel extract.

I found that I had the best results if I applied it like a gel mask for a few minutes before using my Clarisonic with it. By letting it sit on my skin for a few minutes it has time for the acid to penetrate the skin a little and help decongest my pores and slough off dead skin cells. I definitely noticed a difference in the severity of my breakouts after I started using it.

I'm now officially through 34 weeks and only have 6(ish) to go. I'm ready for this little one to get here as soon as she's developed enough.  This past weekend Hubby and I went up to Beaver Creek, CO where we got married for our Babymoon.

I can't believe I'm going to get even bigger before Tater Tot arrives. I feel huge already.
PS: Isn't Hubby cute?

We had a really relaxing time and went on lots of walks with the poodles, went fly fishing (I mostly just watched) and had some quality pool time. So many people only think of visiting the mountains in the winter for ski season but I very much prefer the summertime. Nothing beats a mountainside pool!

Our Private Pool for the weekend. It was great to just lounge in my normal bikini without having anyone else around.
